About the Principal

Mrs. Asmita Vyapari is the founder and principal of Dnyanadeep English Medium School. With more than 35 years of experience in managing educational institutions, her unique vision and her vast knowledge about a wide array of subjects, she has won the respect and adoration of thousands of students and parents from all walks of life. Starting from the basement of her home, she has come a long way and even today, is involved in each and every aspect of the school’s operations with as much energy and spirit as she used to have, back in the early days.
A person of many skills, she also finds the time to stay engaged in the world of arts and Indian classical music. She is even authoring a book on the Japanese art of Origami. Her immense knowledge of bio-chemic medicines, naturopathy, etc. is widely acknowledged. She is also continuously involved in various activities aimed towards creating a clean and healthy environment, whether it be through the use of sustainable sources of energy, in the form of reducing and recycling waste material.
Everyone who has worked with her, agrees that she is a dynamic leader who has the ability to motivate and get the best out of people, irrespective of the challenges.

Shilpa Vyapari

Born and brought up in the city of Pune (India), Shilpa Vyapari is the Founder and Chief Technologist of Indicus Software Pvt. Ltd, which is a software development and IT consulting company based in Pune, India. The company caters primarily to the Japanese market working with some of the biggest names in the business since 1997.
Back in 1997, when Shilpa established the company at the age of 26, she became the youngest and the only lady entrepreneur from India to start her own Information Technology company in Japan. Till date, this remarkable achievement remains unmatched. Clients in Japan respect her exceptional ability to understand various business scenarios and offer solutions that make a positive difference to their functions.
Even with her extremely busy schedules, she finds time especially for the school activities and takes active part in the development of the school. Her contribution in the development is always valuable for the school.
Born and brought up in Pune, Vrushali did her school education in a vernacular medium and then later did her graduation in Computer science from Pune University. She also has acquired knowledge of German and Japanese language. At the starting of her career, she worked in the State Bank of India for 7 years, after which she branched off to the IT industry. She is currently working as HR and finance consultant for Indicus Software Pvt. Ltd. With deep interest in the education field, especially the early child education, she has written simple English conversation books for children from Nursery till Sr. KG. She has also helped the school in designing the curriculum of Japanese language.
She wants to contribute in the sports and extracurricular activities of the children, as being a sports person and an avid trekker herself.

Pandit Jayateerth Mevundi
(Music & Cultural Advisor)
Pandit Jayateerth Mevundi is one of the Kirana Gharana’s leading vocalists. Born in Hubli, his initial training began at home. informally singing bhajans and other devotional music. He recounts that “there was no musician as such in my family although they would listen to songs on the radio, identify the ragas and appreciate music in general”.
At age of 14 he ventured out to find a guru, He received instruction from Pandit Arjunsa Nakod for over a decade and later train with Shripati Padigar, a disciple of Pandit Bhimsen Joshi. Many hear the resemblance between his voice and Joshi, w strong incorporation of ideas from Camatic music and a rich abhang repertoire.
He continues to take an eclectic, spiritual approach to classical music. His compositions are soaked in the Bhakti rasa and a dedicated to the Supreme Lord.
He is a very spiritual person. Panditji is a recipient of many scholarships and awards. Few of them are mentioned here
