International Yoga Day

Celebrating yoga in your school, initiated by teachers, is a fantastic way to foster a culture of health and well-being among students and staff. Here's how teachers can play a pivotal role in integrating yoga into the school environment

Teachers can lead morning yoga sessions before classes start. This sets a positive tone for the day, helping students and staff to start their day with relaxation and focus.

By championing yoga within the school community, teachers not only promote physical fitness and mental well-being but also cultivate a supportive and healthy learning environment for students and colleagues alike.

Ashadi Ekadashi

Celebrating Aashadi Ekadashi at Our School

our school came alive with vibrant colors and festive spirit as we celebrated Aashadi Ekadashi with great enthusiasm. Aashadi Ekadashi holds a special place in our hearts as it signifies devotion, spirituality, and cultural richness.

The day began with traditional prayers and rituals, invoking blessings for prosperity and well-being. Students and teachers alike participated in various cultural programs that showcased our rich heritage through dance, music, and drama performances. The entire school resonated with joyous chants and melodious bhajans dedicated to Lord Vitthal.

In addition to cultural festivities, students also engaged in educational activities that highlighted the significance of Aashadi Ekadashi in our traditions and history. They learned about the importance of fasting, prayer, and charitable acts during this auspicious time.

The highlight of the day was the beautifully decorated tableau depicting the pilgrimage to Pandharpur, bringing alive the essence of the Wari tradition. Students dressed in traditional attire added to the festive atmosphere, spreading cheer and camaraderie.

As the day drew to a close, we reflected on the spiritual significance of Aashadi Ekadashi and its relevance in our lives today. It was a day filled with learning, joy, and spiritual growth, fostering a deeper connection with our cultural roots.

Aashadi Ekadashi at our school was not just a celebration but a memorable journey of faith, unity, and cultural pride. We look forward to continuing this tradition and creating more such enriching experiences in the future.
